ALGEBRA 1

Algebra 1 is one of the first formal algebra courses taught in middle school. It builds on the

concepts learned in prealgebra and prepares students for the higher-level math classes - Algebra 2 & Geometry.

Equations and their Graphs, Systems of Equations and Inequalities, Exponents and Exponential

Functions, Polynomials and Factoring, Quadratic Equations and Functions, Radicals, and Rational

Equations.
